OTR Media Center Hawaii offers song demo services. Bringing musical life to your song is a passion for new OTR Media staff producer and engineer, George “Geebz” del Barrio.
Geebz career in the music business spans almost 35 years. Cutting his engineering teeth in the analog days in Los Angeles in the late 70′s, Geebz has worked and produced music in some of Hollywood’s biggest recording studios. Now back in Hawaii for the last 12 years and considered to be “retired” he was approached by Tim Strickland with a unique opportunity; now you have the new OTR Media Center!
The task is to take the recording studio and breath a different kind of life into a legacy business model. Geebz took this challenge seriously and is plowing into 2013 with renewed energy to be a part of the creative movement of Hawaii’s music industry.
“Just when you think you’re out, it’s sucks you back in – plus you never really retire from music because it’s n your soul” Geebz said. He’s pretty excited to be running OTR Media Center and bringing what he can to artists in Hawaii. So he added on the Zen Room to the existing studio and will make it a production home.
In the Zen Room of OTR Media Center, Geebz brought in one of his systems that has an intense selection of sound plug-ins to create tracks from the ground up.
But his thoughts are a demo can be produced to meet industry standards and ready-to-play-radio quality. The days of having to do a demo then getting it reproduced to meet the strict qualities of traditional air play are in the past if you start your demo in the right studio.
As well, Geebz will assist you in the arranging and instrumentation of your demo should you need the guidance. There are many different demo packages so when you contact us in regards to producing demos we will call you back with a consultation before we move forward with a price.
